RURAL
SEARCH AND RESCUE
Charleston County Rescue Squad is a participant in the Low Country Rural Search and Rescue Team.  It members like those of the other participants have a minimum training level of SARTECH III or FUNSAR through NASAR.

Elements of the Lowcountry RSAR team include, the ground searchers, 4x4's, horses, and K-9's.  As well as a coordination staff that coordinates the deployment of teams and resources.

J&P Publishers have published the new and very improved FUNSAR Book.  If you are going to continue with the Rural Search and Rescue Program this is a must have book!  There are a lot of changes to standards and training that we will be teaching in our planned In-Service training.
