MOUNTED
SEARCH AND RESCUE
There are a group of equine owners in the community that have begun the
process of organizing a trained Mounted Search and Rescue Team.  A number of
these people have Fire, Rescue, EMS, Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue
backgrounds and experience.  It is the intent of the group to follow national standard and training, yet tailor the program for our more flat and swampy search areas where people have been lost in the low country.  We are at this time in the planning process and organizing process.

If you are interested in participating in this new organization please drop
us an email or contact Shawn Jones at 202-7403.
