Independent Study Curriculum
The Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Independent Study Program is delivered through the Emergency Management Institute (EMI). Some of these courses are prerequisites for other state delivered courses. See the EMI Catalog of Activities for course descriptions. Average course completion time is 10-12 hours.
